Nutrioso is an unincorporated community in Apache County, Arizona. Nutrioso is situated where U.S. Route 180 and U.S. Route 191 meet, which is approximately 12 miles to the Southeast of Eagar. Nutrioso’s name is derived from the Spanish word Nutria or “Otter” by early Spanish colonist.
